Surveys indicate that of all the senses, people cherish their vision more than anything else. And yet the percentages of cases of cataracts and macular degeneration have grown to catastrophic proportions. In America, once a person reaches the age of fifty, macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness. Worldwide, the most common cause of blindness is cataracts.
The primary vision problems that people have as they age are not only cataracts and macular degeneration, but also glaucoma and retinopathy--the damage caused to the blood vessels of the eyes that is often related to diabetes. The key to maintaining our wonderful vision is to aggressively try to do something preventive. Get regular examinations to see if anything abnormal is developing and has the potential to threaten your eyesight.
The things we eat and drink and the environment in which we live have always had a direct bearing on our health. Thankfully, we have many simple, natural, and practical ways to help avoid losing our precious eyesight. The addition of more fruits and vegetables to our daily diet, along with wise choices with regards to nutritional supplements has everything to do with eye health. No matter what your age, it's time to think about protecting your eyesight, and there s a wealth of nutrients especially designed to nurture and protect the lens, macula, retina, nerves, blood vessels, and pigments--all the delicate parts of your eyes.
Below you’ll find links to my articles and television programs. It is my hope that you will read all the information carefully, and that you will apply it to your own health. Also, pray about each topic and discuss any concerns with your doctor. Finally, be sure to share this information with your loved ones so that they, too, can discover their Pathway to Healing.
In His Divine Health,

Reginald B. Cherry, M.D.
