About 60 percent of men between the ages of 60 and 70 have an enlarged prostate, along with 80 to 90 percent of men between 70 and 80. It is a common condition called Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, or BPH. (“Benign” means “not cancerous” and “hyperplasia” means “too much growth.”) Furthermore, approximately one in six men in the United States will develop prostate cancer during his lifetime. In fact, except for skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in American men, according to the National Cancer Institute. Traditional medicine says that it is not if a man will develop prostate problems but when a man develops prostate problems – and that if a man lives long enough, he will be attacked by the disease.
As a Christian medical doctor with over 30 years experience in the practice of preventive medicine, I do not accept this as inevitable. I believe that no weapon formed against us will prosper (see Isaiah 54:17). I also believe that God reveals specific things that men can do to prevent, and even reverse, prostate disease – all in the form of natural compounds from the original plant kingdom God created. There are natural remedies that combat prostate problems and the annoying symptoms that accompany an enlarged prostate. One specific nutrient is the trace mineral selenium, which has actually been shown in scientific studies to protect men from prostate cancer. (Incidentally, selenium has also been shown to protect women from breast cancer.)
Below you’ll find links to my articles and television programs. It is my hope that you will read all the information carefully, and that you will apply it to your own health. Also, pray about each topic and discuss any concerns with your doctor. Finally, be sure to share this information with your loved ones so that they, too, can discover their Pathway to Healing.
In His Divine Health,

Reginald B. Cherry, M.D.
